Our livingroom is LOOKIN' GOOD!

Pics of our new chairs. Well, not really. It will be like this one but the piping will be dark brown & the body will be tan. I love the silhouette!

So we've been waiting for this rug for um, 4 months or so. And we thought it was never going to get here. After a very stressful debacle yesterday, we finally got it! I have to say it was worth the wait. It really creates the space for our living room and warms the place up. We are happy!

Hey!! I need surgery!! Woo-Hoo!!

Wait a minute, what?

Just before heading down to the 'Lou for Christmas, I stopped in and got an MRI done on my shoulder and elbow because of some pain I have been having for quite a while. The shoulder I injured when I was training and trying to get into the FBI academy while I was weightlifting, but the elbow is new. Turns out the elbow is tendinitis, but the shoulder is, in a word, hosed. Turns out that I tore the rotator cuff and a tendon in there and having been over 2 years, the doc is not real confident that therapy or anything else he can do will help. He gave me a Cortisone shot to ease the swelling, but good lord does that hurt! It almost felt better before he gave me the shot...

So, I am going to spend the next month getting my shoulder a little more in shape, and then he's going to cut it and make it better. Hopefully then I will be right and can start getting back into the gym again, I'm tired of being the fat bastard lookalike, it's not even Halloween!

So, that's it for now personally. As far as work is concerned, I have been pulled off all the projects I was working on before and put on a much larger project with a much higher visibility and a lot more responsibility. It is going to be a huge challenge since the team is so much larger and there are 10 resources in India, so that means lots of REALLY early phone calls every week. My first meeting today was at 6AM and my last meeting was at 4 without a minute between them, so they are definitely getting their money's worth as far as hours. So, that looks awesome for me and what I have coming up, but it is going to be a tough road for the next year or so. Hey, maybe I'll get a free trip to India!!
Happy New Year's!

OK. So I know I've been really bad about posting. It's just Josh is so good what else do I have to add?

I've uploaded a photo from Christmas (the only one I took in St. Louis) as well as a sweet photo of the kitties (they are doing GREAT by the way). There are a few of our New Year's party which turned out to be so fun.

There was a lot to be grateful for in 2007. Josh and I moved into our beautiful new home, I got a job at the big T, we made more wonderful friends and much more. All I can say is we are truly blessed.

I am sure 2008 is going to bring many blessings and adventures. We are so happy you all can join us!

Enjoy the photos.
